Our System Analysts are responsible for providing support to critical customer-facing applications. In this position you will be applying root-cause operation break fixes and other enthusiastic maintenance activities to keep the application up and running 24x7. These are professional level positions which require strong execution and analytical abilities. You will be expected to interact with Systems, Database personnel, Engineering, Product Development, Clients, Risk and various groups within Technology. Strong Linux/Unix capabilities, communication and analytical skills are very important to find success in this role. These positions require a dynamic, hard-working and ambitious individual, with excellent oral and written communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the ongoing maintenance, security and availability of several applications based on business requirements and adhering to tight operations, security, and procedural modelsAssist in change management processes and improve the efficiency and help standardize current processesDocument and thoroughly understand the application architecture, system configuration across platforms and work with various systems and use this knowledge effectively to resolve issuesYou will work closely with customer support team to communicate the root cause of the outage, duration and recommendations or steps to resolve issuesParticipate in Service Improvement meetings after an application outageRespond to general inquiries, and provide assistance as required in analyzing the trends and suggesting long-term and short-term improvementsResolve incidents and problems in accordance within defined guidelines and meet operational level agreementsImplement change requests and meet project deliverablesYou achieve and understand Service Level commitmentsAbility to work after hours including weekends and night when requiredYou provide automation solutions of manual repetitive tasksQualificationsMinimum 4 years experience in working with Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere, IBM-IHS web server and LDAPExperience in HyperLedger (IBM) to handle ledgers block chain and support Couch DBStrong knowledge of Block Chain functionality to support kakfa, Zoop keeperExpert level of experience on Redhats version of kubernetes, Docker called openshiftIntermediate level of experience for Kakfa, Zoop keeper to handle the systemBasic level knowledge on Akamai, Active-Active setup ApplicationKnowledge and experience with Linux and UNIXMinimum 3 years experience in Production support working in a globally distributed teamWorking experience on Java, J2EE and Perl Script technologiesExperience in working with Db2 UDB and Oracle DBs, DML/DDL SQLs and Store PROCsIntermediate knowledge on Cloud and VM ware infrastructureIntermediate knowledge on Load Balancer, TCP layer architectureStrong knowledge of Ansible and YAML scriptingExperience with Service Now and ticketing workflows is preferredWorking experience with monitoring tools like SPLUNK or any other monitoring tools/processes will be advantageousPrior working experience with Card and transaction domains will be advantageousA bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field requiredShould have a technical and business mindsetISO 9000 and ITIL experience will be advantageousAdditional InformationVisa will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law.Job Number: REF17131L
